Design, Fabrication & Machining
Design
Sebring International's range of classically styled sports cars makes a statement that is distinctive and unique in today's mass production world.
This is certainly true and Van Driel Engineering are extremely proud to have been the design team behind the Sebring EXALT and just as proud to have manufactured the prototype car - beautiful isn't it!
From sports cars prototypes to church doors...
These steel and glass doors were manufactured under the strict eye of English Heritage - they allow St Mary's Church to close off the large church porch to form a play space for children, separate from services but safe and secure.
Fabrication
Converting a basic vehicle into a special purpose outside broadcasting unit - Fabrications included steps, handrails and platforms - all manufactured in stainless steel and to rigorous safety standards and all 'fold away'.
Ramps - produced in stainless or mild steel - facilitating disabled access to public transport and to public services vehicles. The safety of users is paramount so all our access ramps are double quality checked before delivery.
Machining
Manufacturing hauling drums - for raising and lowering scenery and curtains in theatres and film and TV studios - on our manual Colchester Mastiff Centre Lathe.
Our CNC lathes and mills enable us to produce precision engineered components such as these parts for specialist sliding mechanisms; working to exacting customer specification to ensure that they slide perfectly, first time every time.
