An engineering works built on repeat work
Van Driel Engineering has designed and fabricated to customer specification from the same Norfolk works for over twenty-five years. The customers who come back are the ones who cannot afford a part to be wrong.

The work that comes back to us is the work where being wrong is not an option: something a wheelchair user stands on, something that goes into a a demanding environment, something a driver sits inside.
Environmental responsibility
Steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world, and offcut has scrap value, so segregating ferrous from non-ferrous and returning it to the recycling stream is ordinary shop practice here rather than a policy position we would ask you to admire.
The larger environmental argument for work like ours is duller and more useful. A fabrication that is designed properly, made once and fitted correctly does not get made twice. Rework is the most wasteful thing a workshop does (in material, in energy, in transport and in somebody’s programme) and avoiding it is the same discipline as doing the job well.
Work with an engineering business that answers the phone
Talk to someone who can make the part, not a call centre. Send a drawing and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right supplier for it.
