Your drawings
Files you upload are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on the web server outside the publicly accessible area of the site, under randomised filenames. They are used solely to review and quote your enquiry, and to manufacture the work if you place an order. They are not shared outside the group, and are not used for any other purpose. Intellectual property in your drawings remains yours.
Retention
We keep general enquiry correspondence for 24 months. Drawings and technical files relating to a placed order are kept for the life of the contract plus any applicable statutory retention period. Where an enquiry does not result in an order, the correspondence is held for the 24-month period above and the files are deleted with it.
Who we share it with
Personal data is not sold or shared for marketing, and it is not transferred outside the United Kingdom. It may be accessible to our website hosting and email provider, Kaweb, in the course of providing those services to us.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie: a PHP session cookie, used solely to protect the enquiry forms against cross-site request forgery. It contains no personal information, is not used for tracking, and expires when you close your browser. No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set by this site as delivered.
The map on our Location page
Our Location page offers an interactive map of the works, supplied by Google Maps. It is not loaded when the page opens. The page shows a static panel held on our own server, and the Google map is requested only if you press the button that loads it.
If you do press it, your browser connects directly to Google. At that point Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you would rather not do that, the address and telephone number are given in full on the page, and the “Open in Google Maps” link takes you to Google's own site instead, loading nothing into ours.
This is the only feature on this website capable of contacting a third party, and it does nothing at all unless you ask it to.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, write to the address above or email [email protected].
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
