What we need
Missing something from this list? Send what you have. Most enquiries can be priced from a dimensioned sketch, and we would rather ask one question than quote round a gap.
Mezzanine and machine access platforms, walkways, staircases, handrail and balustrade systems, plant support frames, gantries and bespoke brackets.
Two things decide the outcome. The first is whether the steelwork will actually fit what is already there. The second is whether the connection detail was thought about before the sections were cut.
Van Driel does not hold EN 1090-1 factory production control certification, so we do not offer CE or UKCA-marked load-bearing structural steelwork. What is described on this page is access and support steelwork: platforms, walkways, staircases, handrail, plant frames and brackets. If your scope requires a declaration of performance under BS EN 1090, we will tell you at enquiry rather than at delivery.

The steelwork has to fit the building, not the drawing of the building.
Which is a survey question rather than a drawing question, and it is the reason access steelwork goes wrong more often than it fails.

Access and support steelwork: mezzanine and machine access platforms, walkways, staircases, handrail and balustrade systems, plant support frames, gantries and bespoke brackets. Secondary steelwork rather than primary building frames.
Yes, where the drawing shows arrangement only. On access steelwork the connection detail decides both the cost and whether the thing can actually be fitted in the space available, and it is far better resolved before sections are cut than after they arrive.
Yes, UK-wide, with delivery in sections sized for the access actually available on site rather than the access shown on the drawing. See site and project support.
General arrangement drawings, and fabrication drawings where they exist; the design loads, or the equipment and duty the structure has to support; the steel grade; site constraints including access, headroom and existing structure; the finish and corrosion-protection specification; and whether you need delivery only or delivery and installation.
